Weekend Caregiver Schedule

Availability Window:
Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM–10:00 PM

Pay: $17.00 per hour

To qualify for the Weekend Caregiver pay rate, you must be available and scheduled to work at least 32 hours between Friday and Sunday each week.

Work 32 hours and earn $544 per weekend — while keeping Monday through Thursday free!

Where You'll Work

Home Instead provides care to older adults throughout Elkhart County, Indiana.

Weekend assignments may be located anywhere within Elkhart County, including Elkhart, Goshen, Middlebury, Bristol, Nappanee, Wakarusa, Millersburg, New Paris and surrounding communities.

Applicants should be comfortable traveling to different client homes throughout Elkhart County based on scheduling and client needs.

What You'll Do

Our Care Professionals help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Depending on the client's needs, you may assist with:

• Companionship and conversation
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation and errands
• Medication reminders
• Personal care and hygiene
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Alzheimer's and dementia care

This position is especially well suited for someone who wants to maximize their weekend hours while keeping weekdays available for family, school, another job, or personal time.

Weekend Commitment

This is a weekend-focused position, not an occasional weekend role.

Applicants must be able to work a minimum of 32 hours between Friday and Sunday and have availability within our 7:00 AM–10:00 PM weekend scheduling window.

Because we serve clients throughout the county, applicants must also be willing and able to travel to client homes throughout Elkhart County, Indiana as needed.
